Walnut Commons is a cohousing community in Santa Cruz, California, where residents own their unit along with shared facilities, which include a gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room and play room. There are also guestrooms, a shared laundry room and a parking garage. The community consists of a three-story building of 19 condominiums which range in size from 700 to 1400 square feet. Homeowners share meals three times a week as a community, and can walk to shops, restaurants, hiking trails and the beach.
