The Colorado Chautauqua, located in Boulder, Colorado, sits at the foot of the Flatirons. Inspired by the Chautauqua Institute in Chautauqua Lake, New York, The Colorado Chautauqua community offers cultural and educational programs, music concerts and artistic presentations. This National Historic Landmark is made up of private cottages and lodges, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a dining hall, a General Store, thousand of acres, and 40 miles of trails. Open year-round and part of the Chautauqua Movement which grew out of the Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle, the community attracts over one million visitors each year.
