The college town of Concord has about 42,000 in southern New Hamshire, conveniently near the juncture of I 93 and I 89. It is home to the elite prep school of St. Pauls, which graduates a very high percentage of future leaders. Franklin Pearce Law School is based here as well as a community college. Concord is the capital of New Hampshire as well as the county seat.

There are active communities in the area (see link at left). The median home value in mid-2021 was $314,148 according to Zillow, and a 20% increase over the past year.
What Is Special about Concord
The historic Eagle Hotel has hosted a number of American Presidents including U.S. Grant, Rutherford Hayes, and Richard Nixon. Abraham Lincoln spoke at the old Phenix Hall. Beaver Meadow is the oldest golf course in New Hampshire. It is the capital of the state. NH is considered a low tax state.

The median January temperature is about 20 degrees-it is in southern New Hampshire; the average July temperature is about 70 degrees.
Restaurants & Cultural Scene
Concord has many landmarks and other tourist attractions in it. Probably the largest is the New Hampshire State House. Two other institutions include the Capitol Center for the Arts and the New Hampshire Historical Society.
