A sparking northeastern college town, Nashua, New Hampshire is rated #87 on Money Magazine's Best Places to Live Guide. It is has also won “Best Place to Live in America” twice. This small city/large town of about 84,000 is only 40 miles from Boston. Its inhabitants appreciate that Nashua is also near the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire and Maine.
There are several colleges in Nashua including Rivier College, NH Community Technical College, and Daniel Webster College, which all add to a progressive college culture. It is nicknamed "The Gate City.” The Nashua River has been incorporated into an invigorated downtown -- the Nashua Riverwalk has been a big success.

Nashua ArtWalk! features fine arts and crafts, artist demonstrations, or historic architecture highlighting Nashua's galleries and studios. The colleges in town have many programs. Andy's Summer Playhouse, Timberlane Regional Performing Arts Center, Monadnock Music, and Boardinghouse Park have active cultural schedules in the region. There are 8 museums within 30 miles, 13 movie theaters within 15 miles,a dn 1400 restaurants within 15 miles.
