Lakewood and Lakewood Township is a growing community near the New Jersey shore town of Brick, just off the Garden State Parkway. It is the home of one catholic college, Georgian Court, as well as one of the largest (jewish) yeshivas in the world. Lakewood is a major center for orthodox jews.

Lakewood is in southern New Jersey near the oceanside town of Brick. The pine barrens surround Lakewood on 3 sides and the ocean is to the east. The climate is a bit milder than New York City or towns to the west.
