Salemtowne is a covenant-controlled 55+ adult community near Salem, Oregon, that was established in 1967 with over 460 individually-owned homes and condominiums. Amenities include a private executive golf course, swimming pool, activity rooms and many more amenities. Salemtowne was developed on the site of an historic orchard, and the original farmhouse has been incorporated into the main activity complex. The majority of Salemtowne homes are one level with two or three bedrooms. In addition to single residence lots, there are two groups of condominiums. Golf membership is optional.
