McCormick Ranch is a very large and long-established master-planned community of over 3100 acres in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. It is composed of 57 subdivisions within the Ranch with an array of amenities which include  two championship 18-hole golf courses, 25 miles of bicycle paths, public tennis courts, and 2 sizable man-made lakes. "The Camelback Walk" is a continuous open space running through the community that is also used for flood control. The community is managed by its Property Owners Association.
