What Is Special about Pine Mountain
Callaway Gardens is a very popular tourist attraction and resort in Pine Mountain Valley. The area is quite beautiful and is not only near Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park but also Warm Springs, which has the FDR Museum and Little White House where he died in 1945.
What Is Not Special about Pine Mountain
This is a very small town and a good drive to the bigger towns of Columbus or Atlanta.

The terrain is hilly and forested. Average January temperature is in the low 40's. It will be cooler here than in the eastern part of the state.
