What Is Special about Bedford

Bedford is a great old town in the historic region around Boston.  The Bedford Flay on display at the Bedford Free Public Library is the oldest known surviving intact flag in the United States. It is thought to have been the first U.S. flag flown during the American Revolutionary War. Several historic sites include the Unitarian Church, Fitch Tavern, and Job Lane House.
